Two things I do to contribute to a healthy environment, I do not use harsh chemical’s to clean my house, I use mostly vinegar and water in a spray bottle to clean everything in my Home, so that as my children grew up, they were not exposed to toxic surfaces in the house. My other most important practice for a Healthy Environment, would be, the recycle / reduce / reuse rule of thumb. Not only do I donate items to stores to sell for Charity, I enjoy buying there to…as your purchases are what really do the trick to make money for the store so they can help other people and charities to work for a cure for things like Diabetes, etc etc. Recycle my waste at home, using a recycling bin to allow items that can be recycled to save dumping it in the dump. And any item that can be re-used by me or by someone who needs it, I am always glad to give to people things I might not need anymore, but they do. A lot of those items were things that my children needed from birth to 18. Now they are in college, but I would donate toys and baby items and clothes to whomever needed them.:-) I know these two practices have contributed to doing my share to a Healthier Environment for my family and all the other 6 billion people on the planet. It might only be a small contribution, but if we all concern ourselves with doing what we can, it all adds up…:-)
