Chewoo is known around these parts as a trouble making red squirrel so it only seems natural that he would visit this statue! Facebook fan Amanda Gerdlund posted this wonderful picture of Chewoo meeting the squirrel statue! The statue resides in Longview, WA and is located at a park dedicated to squirrels called “Nutty Narrows“! Follow this link to hear about the great history of the statue and the entire park.

YooHoo, Chewoo Visit White House’s Annual Easter Egg Roll April 17, 2012

YooHoo and Chewoo greeting thousands of families at the Easter Egg Roll Event.

We knew YooHoo had some powerful friends – but in the White House?! You have probably heard of the Annual Easter Egg Roll as it has a storied history, taking place since the 1870’s during the Andrew Johnson administration! While Presidents of different parties and distinguished guests have attended, never has anyone cuter than Chewoo and YooHoo ever participated 🙂

With over 35,000 people in attendance last week, YooHoo and Cheewoo were there to greet and take pictures with thousands of families. Chewoo also made an appearance on the Today Show with Al Roker.  You can spot Chewoo on the left side of the screen jumping!

The Official White House Press Release even mentioned YooHoo and Cheewoo amongst the many other popular characters who showed up. So only one question remains – now that YooHoo & Chewoo are political big shots are they planning to jump into the 2012 presidential race? We would vote for that ticket!
